Vendor Information & Guidelines

Please thoroughly read the guidelines outlined below:

General Festival Information:
 
 
Date: Saturday, October 6, 2012
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m
Set-up:  7:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m
Break-down: 4:30p.m. – 6p.m. (sunset at 6:30pm)
Place: Marshfield Fairgrounds
Parking:  free parking nearby
Rain date: No rain date
Refund Policy: No Refunds

Supplies and Equipment: 
South Shore Celebration will provide fireproof tents for vendors.

Vendors are responsible for compliance with festival Zero Waste program, including composting any food scraps and using compostable serving dishes when applicable.

All materials must be kept within the confines of the individual space allotted to each vendor. 

Generators are not allowed and electricity will be provided if approved in advance.

South Shore Celebration, event committee, or volunteers shall not be responsible for any items or equipment lost, damaged, or stolen. 

Food vendors must be equipped with fire extinguisher.

Set-Up/Tear-Down and Parking: 

Loading vehicles will have access to the area between 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. only. Please note: this will be strictly enforced. 

Vendors must stop selling promptly at 4:30 p.m. 

Vendors are responsible for space appointed—all items must be removed and site must be cleaned. 

Vendors are responsible for loading and hauling of their own food, equipment, or products. Volunteers will be available to assist as needed.

Vehicles must be parked outside the festival area during the event.

 Logistics

 Vendors check in at their pre-designated access point on the day of festival where they will be given permits with map and instructions for parking once they load in.

Vendors must load in, drop off, park, and then set up (in that order). 

Important Restaurant Vendor Criteria - Cooking Vendors


Must use recyclable and compostable utensils, serving containers, and napkins.

No bottled water to be sold by any restaurant vendor.

Licensing/Permits:


All permits are the responsibility of the vendor and can be obtained from the Town of Marshfield.
